With the advent of climate change, it is now even more important that fuel use is minimised and, where available, the highest-efficiency appliances are utilised.
The introduction of renewable energy sourced requirements, has prompted an industry-led investigation into providing both standalone and hybrid systems.
These systems include solar thermal, photovoltaic, air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, biomass, hydro and wind turbines. They can operate alone of supported by mainstream equipment in a hybrid mode.
The introduction of intelligent systems enhances the available options even further, thus introducing full optimisation control for heating and/or cooling systems.
Intelligent systems can be retro-fitted to existing systems by utilising micro-computer controllers, which report to a designated PC or control station. Furthermore, they are expandable to enable you to control other systems, such as lighting, compressed air installations, process equipment, etc.

The McKiernan Group has teamed up with Environmental Surveyors and Energy Assessors in order to provide clients with the most up-to-date resolution to site requirements - meeting and, in most cases, exceeding current government targets.
Where applicable, we will assist clients to obtain any available grants through direct government schemes or via the Carbon Trust.
In many cases full surveys can be arranged with such support, which may then continue through to scheme finance or via interest free loans.
